Lot 44: Keeper For The Day - Knowsley Safari

The Knowsley Safari Family Adventure Day experience is one day you will remember for a lifetime.
During the day you will get to spend time with some of our animals and keepers and get to see all the action of the park from behind the scenes. You will be looked after by a member of our Learning & Discovery team who will accompany you on your private safari tour in our VIP Land Rover.
Depending on the day of your visit in addition to a guided tour around the safari reserve you may get up close and personal with our tower of Giraffes, help feed our Meerkat mob or get a kiss from a Sea Lion!
Wristbands for our amusement rides are included along with our fantastic Sea Lion and Bird of Prey displays and lunch in the Oasis restaurant.
We do our best to make this experience as accessible as possible for all ability levels, if you have any specific requirements please call us at the park and we will be happy to talk about what we can do for you.

Lot 45: Butchery course at Peelham Farm, Berwickshire

A butchery course for one person:
"Take part in a craft butchey course on our organic farm, in our organic butchery and enjoy an organic farm kitchen lunch. In a focussed hands-on butchery course with one of Peelham's craft butchers learn how to cut-down a whole lamb and a whole pig. Recognise and cut the different joints, make sausages and learn about dry-curing and air-drying. Do all of this with fellow foodies and join-in the chat about food and farming with them and us."
The courses normally run from January to October (with the exception of August).

Lot 47: Sailing near Oban

An opportunity for two people to sail on an exciting 32ft trimaran yacht in the glorious waters surrounding the islands to the south of Oban where the scenery is without equal and where a variety of wildlife is likely to be seen.
No previous experience is required. The day will start from Craobh Haven marina at about 10a.m. (www.craobhmarina.co.uk) and return will be about 6p.m.
The exact route to be followed will depend on the weather and tides on the day. All food, and drinks and safety equipment will be provided, and it may be possible to provide some waterproof clothing by arrangement.
To be taken on Saturday 4th August or Saturday 11th August 2018, or by arrangement with the donor.
B&B accommodation is available close to the marina.

Geoff Eyre is always a mine of information and enthusiasm, and he has been pioneering new upland management techniques over the last thirty years.
The moorland community owes a great deal to Geoff's innovative, practical approach, and this Lot provides a chance to discuss moorland restoration with a leading figure in the field.
