Lot 3.3: Red Hind Stalking on Atholl Estates
Presented by Atholl Estates:
One day’s red hind stalking on part of the Atholl Estate, one of Scotland's best known Highland estates.Extending to over 145,000 acres, the estate is divided into five sporting beats, each of which offers a different mix of sport and scenery.
The red hind stalking is part of a selective cull and the estate stalker will accompany the rifle, directing guests to the identified cull hinds. The experience is enhanced by the highland ponies which are used to carry the culled deer where conditions permit and the services of a ghillie and pony are included.
To be taken during the 2020 – 2021 season by arrangement with the donor.
Lot 6.6: A set of 3 bottles of award winning malt whisky

unchillfiltered vatted malt, Poit Dhubh, bottled at 8 years and 12
years, with a gold medal 21-year-old to satisfy the most epicurean
of tastes.
Poit Dhubh, named after the Gaelic term for an illicit
still, celebrates the historic and illustrious tradition of illicit
whisky distilling and the fabled reputation that the smugglers of
old enjoyed!

Lot 2.2: A Walked-up Day in Aberdeenshire

A classic day’s rough shooting for three to four guns in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, a few miles outside Huntly.
A fantastically varied bag is possible, with pheasant, partridge, grouse, snipe, duck, woodcock, hare, pigeon, and rabbit on offer. An old-fashioned mixed day of exciting, relaxed sport.
A delicious lunch will be provided for the guns in Edinglassie Lodge.
To be taken by arrangement with the donor in early / mid November 2020.
If required, self-catering accommodation is available by separate negotiation with the donor.

Fishing is let over the Upper and Lower Beats of the Edzell Water (West Bank only) on the River North Esk. The middle beat is not included. There are ten named pools. The upper beat extends from below the Gannochy Bridge on the Fettercairn Road to the Suspension Bridge by Edzell Village and the Lower Beat runs from the top of the Lyn Martin Pool down to the confluence of the North Esk and the West Water.

Very good condition. Four volumes, large format (15" x 11"), three quarters red leather binding, red boards. Numerous b/w photos and full page sepia photos. Containing a short history of each Fox and Stag Hunt in the British Isles, together with biographical records of masters past and present, and some members of each hunt. Also an introductory chapter on mediaeval hunting and articles concerning the stag, the fox, the hound, the horse and all subjects allied thereto. The South-west of England;The South-East, East and Eastern Midlands of England; The North-East and Western Midlands of England, and Wales; England (North), Scotland and Ireland. List of Subscribers.
Leather edges rubbed with some small areas of loss. Red cloth boards a little marked and some uneven fading. Some pale foxing to some plate margins and slight creasing to some plate tissue guards. Text pages nice and clean.
To be collected by arrangement in Perthshire or Dumfries.
