Four non-fiction titles from her personal collection:

1.      Sir Walter Raleigh: in Life and Legend, by Mark Nicholls and Penry Williams, Continuum, 2001.
2.     Stanley, the Impossible Life of Africa’s Greatest Explorer, by Tim Jean, Faber and Faber, 2007. Signed and inscribed; BBC Radio Book of the Week Sunday Times  Biography of the Year for 2007,  US National Book Critics' Award for Biography in 2008.
3.    Germany, Memories of a Nation by Neil MacGregor, Allan Lane, 2014
4.    The Armenian Massacres on Ottoman Turkey: a Disputed Genocide, by Guenter Lewy, University of Utah Press, 2015.
