Two day’s back to back hind stalking for one rifle on Argyll Estates. Argyll Estates cover an area in excess of 50,000 acres and offer some of the finest hill and woodland stalking available in Scotland. You will be accompanied by The Estate Stalker. There is no limit on numbers of hinds shot. The Estate can provide use of the Estate rifle, if necessary.
Included in this lot are 4 Inveraray Castle Entry Tickets. Inveraray Castle is the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, Chief of the Clan Campbell and the iconic, must-see visitor attraction on the West Coast of Scotland. Inveraray Castle has been standing on the shores of Loch Fyne since the 1400s, although the impressive castle we know today was inspired by a sketch by Vanbrugh, the architect of Blenheim Palace and Castle Howard in the 1700s. Inveraray is easily one of the most iconic castles in Scotland, but there's a lot more to it than that. A wander round the exquisite gardens, a woodland walk and a visit to their traditional tearoom. Inveraray Castle was the chosen location for the Downton Abbey Christmas 2012 episode. Accommodation is at the bidder’s expense – local pubs and B&B’s can be recommended.

PLEASE NOTE: All successful bidders will be notified immediately on completion of the Sale by email. To secure the Lot, payment should be made within 7 days of the notification.
Payment can be made on the website through Paypal, these payments will be subject to a small surcharge. Alternative arrangements can be made to pay by cheque, payable to 'The Heather Trust', or by direct bank transfer.
IMPORTANT: To avoid causing difficulties for the donor, we expect the buyer to take up a lot at a mutually convenient date within twelve months of the Sale.
