The Dartmoor Fishery is an excellent choice for anglers seeking wilderness fishing for wild brown trout and is Fly Only. Fishing on Dartmoor extends to some 26 miles and the East and West Dart and their tributaries really epitomise ‘wild fishing in wild places’. The River Dart and its tributaries are some of the wildest and most pristine environments in the UK. The West Dart flows through one of the most beautiful valleys on Dartmoor. The East Dart is set amongst beautiful moorland, and good sport can be had right up to its headwaters. The fishing on the Dartmoor Estate is administered by Westcountry Rivers Trust and more information is available on their website.
