One day’s fly fishing for two rods on the private Cowhill Beat of the River Nith, Dumfries. Fishermen must return fish, in line with conservation regulations. Fishing returns must be made to the Estate Factors, Guy Webb at Savills. The Nith offers an excellent choice of angling for Salmon and Sea Trout and is arguably the most productive of the Solway rivers. This is an opportunity to fish an exclusive private beat on both banks near to Holywood, some 2 miles upstream of Dumfries.
To be taken between 13th August 2016 and 30th November 2016 by arrangement with Guy Webb (Factor for Cowhill Estate).
PLEASE NOTE: All successful bidders will be notified immediately on completion of the Sale by email. To secure the Lot, payment should be made within 7 days of the notification.
Payment can be made on the website through Paypal, these payments will be subject to a small surcharge. Alternative arrangements can be made to pay by cheque, payable to 'The Heather Trust', or by direct bank transfer.
IMPORTANT: To avoid causing difficulties for the donor, we expect the buyer to take up a lot at a mutually convenient date within twelve months of the Sale.
